Cursussup — officially www.cursussup.gov.ma — is the Moroccan Ministry of Higher Education's portal for admission to the country's grandes écoles and selective faculties: medicine, engineering, business, and technology schools. If you're a baccalaureate holder applying to FMP, ENSA, ENCG, or ENSAM, this portal is where your application lives. This is an independent verification guide, not the ministry's site — the official portal is the only place to actually apply.

Quick facts

  • What: official admissions portal for Morocco's selective higher-education concours (competitive entrance exams).
  • Run by: the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation (Morocco).
  • Official site: www.cursussup.gov.ma — applications, preselection lists, convocations, and results all publish here.
  • Login: Massar ID (your national student code, CNE) + password.
  • Schools covered: FMP (medicine/pharmacy), FMD (dentistry), ENSA (applied sciences), ENCG (business/management), ENSAM (arts & métiers), EST, FST, ENSAD, Licence d'éducation.
  • 2026 applications: 19 June – 10 July 2026.

How the admission process works

The concours system runs in stages, all tracked in your Cursussup candidate space. First, registration: you create your application during the open window (19 June–10 July 2026) with your Massar credentials, choosing your target schools. Then comes preselection: the ministry computes a score — for medicine, 75% of your national bac exam mark plus 25% of your regional exam — and publishes the lists; for 2026 the FMP/FMD threshold was 12.00. If you're preselected, you download your convocation (exam summons) with your table number, exam center, and schedule. Then the written exam, then results, then administrative registration at the school. The platform verification guide confirms you're on the real portal before entering credentials, and the account access guide covers login and password recovery.

2026 concours calendar

The key dates for the 2026 session: FMP/FMD (medicine, pharmacy, dentistry) — preselection 16 July, written exam 18 July, results 21 July; ENCG (business) — preselection 14 July, exam 20 July, results 23 July; ENSA (applied sciences/engineering) — preselection 16 July, exam 22 July, results 25 July; ENSAM (arts & métiers) — preselection 16 July, exam 24 July, results 27 July. Administrative registration for admitted candidates: 28, 29, and 31 July. The course checklist keeps every deadline in one place.

Verifying you're on the real site

Admission season breeds copycat sites — some harvest credentials, others just monetize confusion with ads. The official portal is cursussup.gov.ma (the .gov.ma domain is the tell). It never asks for payment for preselection results, and convocations download from your logged-in candidate space, never from a link in an SMS. The certificate check guide explains how to verify official documents, and the downloads guide covers getting your convocation and results safely.

Fees and refunds

Registration on the portal is free; some concours charge an application fee paid through official channels (bank transfer or designated payment points — never to a personal account). Keep every receipt — if a payment doesn't reflect in your candidate space, the receipt is your evidence. The fees and refunds guide details the current amounts and the refund process when a concours is cancelled or a duplicate payment occurs.

Troubleshooting

The classic failure modes: login rejected (Massar ID mistyped — it's the national code, not your name; or password expired), portal overloaded (results days crush the ministry's servers — retry off-peak, early morning), convocation won't download (try a different browser, disable aggressive ad-blockers), and missing from a preselection list (check your computed score against the published threshold before assuming an error). The troubleshooting guide runs the full checklist in order.

Understanding your preselection score

The preselection math decides whether you sit the exam at all, so run it yourself before the lists publish. For medicine (FMP/FMD), the formula is 75% of your national bac exam average + 25% of your regional exam average. A student with 14.0 national and 12.0 regional scores 13.5 — comfortably above the 12.00 threshold for 2026. Each school and track publishes its own threshold, and they move every year with the applicant pool's strength: a strong bac cohort pushes thresholds up, a weak one pulls them down. Two practical consequences. First, your regional exam matters more than students think — a point gained regionally is worth a quarter point in the final score, and at the margin that's the difference between convocated and rejected. Second, if your computed score lands just below the published threshold, don't assume a mistake — but do check that the ministry used the right marks (wrong transcripts are rare but not unheard of). The threshold lists publish alongside the preselection results on the portal, so you can verify the arithmetic against your own bac transcript.

After admission: administrative registration

Passing the written exam isn't the finish line — you still have to claim the seat. Administrative registration (28, 29, and 31 July 2026 for this session) happens in person at the admitting school with your dossier: bac diploma or attestation, national ID, birth certificate, photos, and the convocation/results printouts. Miss the registration days and the seat goes to the waiting list — the portal publishes waiting-list movement precisely because no-shows are common. Bring originals and copies; Moroccan university admin runs on paper, and the student who arrives with a complete dossier registers in twenty minutes while the unprepared one queues twice. Tuition at public institutions is nominal, but budget for the dossier costs: certified copies, photos, and transport to the school's city.

Frequently asked questions

Can I apply to multiple schools? Yes — the portal lets you register for several concours in the same session; each has its own exam.

What if I miss the application window? There is no late registration — the portal closes on 10 July and that's final.

Do I need the bac first? Preselection is computed from your bac marks, so yes — this is a post-baccalaureate process.

Are waiting lists real? Yes — published on the portal; candidates move up as admitted students withdraw.

More answers in the Cursussup FAQ.

Cursussup is the gate to Morocco's most selective schools — one portal, one login, and a calendar that doesn't forgive missed deadlines. Verify the domain, register during the window, watch the thresholds, and download your convocation the day it drops. The concours is hard enough without losing to logistics.
